Feel The Ocean With Us

Diving with Shanaka Shanaka gab mir privaten Tauchunterricht. Das confined water machten wir im Pool von meiner Unterkunft in der Villa Setha Wadi in Kalpitiya. Sehr empfehlenswert! Shanaka ist sehr achtsam und nahm sich viel Zeit, mir die Fertigkeiten fürs Tauchen zu lehren. Ich fühlte mich sehr wohl und sicher unter Wasser. Am nächsten Tag fuhren wir nach Trincomalee, weil die Tauchsaison in Kalpitiya erst im Oktober startet. In Trinco machte ich meine vier Tauchgänge und danach erlangte ich meine Brevetierung zum Open Water Diving.

Lets Go Diving We had a wonderful time diving with Shanaka and his team. They all went above and beyond to make our trip comfortable, easy, spectacular, and full of beautiful underwater experiences. I love the outfit and would go back again over and over again.

So many Dolphins! We went on a Dolphine-watching tour and weren't dissaopointed. There were hundreds of dolphins and the boat was right in the middle of them 🙂 Magic experience. I personally also anjoyed the fast boatride a lot and the "landing" on the shore.

Great discovery diving course! Myself and my boyfriend did the discovery course today in Kalpitiya with Shanaka- we’ve never done diving before and wanted to try it. We did a pool session first where all equipment was provided and then he went through some practical theory and then we got a boat out to about 10metres deep - the equipment was in very good condition, Shanaka made sure we were ok with everything and stayed with me during the dive as I was a little bit more nervous to start off but felt very safe with him - the Reef we went to didn’t have much fish and the water was a bit cloudy but think that’s just the time of year it is and after a lot of rain ! Spent about 25 mins in the water altogether. It was a great basic starter course and we now feel confident to do more dives so thanks a million 👍👍 Really sound guy , informative and good fun 😊 Nice restaurants also around the area which are starting to open up after Covid if ye fancy food after the tours! (windy waves, the eagle).

Tauchen If you want to have a good time while diving. You have to come here. Shanaka is an amazing guy who loves the diving and all the animals in the ocean. Its wonderful to see someone who has 3500 dives and still enjoys making photos of fishes. And sometimes of you are Lucky you get some special Programm between the dives. thank you and your team for those great 2 days. Ps. Pictures made mostly by Shanaka and shared with the group.

Professionnels, respectueux et très sympathiques J’ai fait la sortie pour voir les dauphins avec eux et ce fut une magnifique expérience. Non seulement nous avons vu plein de dauphins mais en plus le skipper est respectueux des animaux et Sharaka, le patron, est d’une gentillesse incroyable ! Et après la sortie, allez déjeuner sur place, au Sea View Cafe, c’est la maman de Sharaka qui cuisine, c’est très bon et tout le monde est adorable.

Tauchtrip am Morgen Aufgrund von Absagen anderer Taucher hatte ich das Vergnügen alleine mit Shanaka mehrere Tauchgänge an wirklich schönen Tauchspots zu verbringen. Dort haben wir eine große Vielzahl von Anemonen- Kaiser-Doktor- und Kugelfischen gesehen, auch eine Perlenmuräne konnten wir aus nächster Nähe beobachten. Die komplette Ausrüstung ist in einem ordentlichen gepflegten Zustand bereitgestellt worden. Die kleine Tauchstation abseits der Touristenorte ist sehr zu empfehlen, der Weg dorthin lohnt sich auch wegen den tollen Tauchspots und der Chance dabei noch Delfine oder Wale zu sehen.

TOP CLASS Dive and Snokel Tours My wife and I are from Los Angeles visiting Sri Lanka on an extended stay. We had the pleasure using Ocean Lanka managed by Shanaka the dive Instructor. We did a private snorkeling trip. They were recommended by our hotel “Bar Reef”. We were given a boat driver and snorkeling guide. WOW! Please use the guide and pay the extra money. You will not only feel safe having two staff looking out for you, while the guide will take you to see the fish without having to look for fish everywhere. Shanaka and his staff is TOP CLASS. You can not go wrong using an experience team like this. We will be back in Sri Lanka.

Excellent diving We have been diving with Shanaka and had an excellent time. We are experienced divers and all material was in good shape. Before coming to Sri Lanka we hsad arranged the diving and all went according to plan

Scuba dive I did a dive yesterday (11/11/19) with Shanaka. He's very professional & enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We went to Bar Reef, about 30 minutes out. Visibility was not great (~5-10m). We went to about 14m deep and saw some amazing fish (1 large ray of about 1.2 m). I felt very comfortable with Shanaka as diving buddy. Unfortunately I couldn't go for the 2nd dive as I lost my mask when climbing aboard after the 1st dive ...😥 I would recommend Shanaka any time! Bert
